Is College Worth It? Yes. College is worth the WASTE of TIME, MONEY and ENERGY, but is it worth creating incredible Debts and impacting lives financially. Sometimes taking multiple generations to repay all your debt.
Colleges continuously teach, but really what are they teaching? And yet every year the fees increase. Try that in a private business and you will fail. Do it at an American university and you get billions in taxpayer subsidies. — SO TRUE!!!
Is College Worth It?
OK… let’s review this…
45 percent of students “did not demonstrate any significant improvement in learning” (but they got to party) over the first two years of college. Close to 40 percent did not learn anything at all over all four years. Most the time… (but got to party)
CLEARLY College is not making People Smarter.
Many Students Never Really Studied, (again partying) with 35 percent reporting less than 5 hours a week in study time.
2.67 hours a day is all that is reported. Twice that time in shopping, eating, Partying. (Hello)
Consistent increase in adult illiteracy (do not forget the parties). Most College Grads fall below average in Cognitive Tasks. (Such as calculating the costs of foods in a Grocery Store).
College Grads in the US test at or less than high school kids in several other countries, and unfortunately our own.
Top Universities are declining in their Academic Rigor. (So, so, so True)
It is true that college classes get flimsier. Yet Half the College GPA averages are over 3.0 average. Grade Inflation… Highest at Private Schools.
And with $$$Billions$$$ in TAXPAYER Dollars being sent to these Institutions??? WHAT!!! If This Was a Private Business, there would be FRAUD Indictments.
So, what is the answer?
